What Did I Pull?
Base Set Completion: 55/60 (92%)
The base cards have a solid design and outstanding photography. I really like the Jordan base card included in the set. It is a photo I haven't seen before and makes for a great card. I also like the fact that the base set is relatively small (only 60 cards). This is obviously a higher end product and there is no reason to include a large base set in my opinion.
Inserts: (5)
- Notable Newcomers Craig Smith
- We're #1 Elton Brand
- Draft Day Rewind Ben Gordon
- Draft Day Rewind Brad Miller
- Draft Day Rewind Baron Davis
All the inserts have a golden look to them, which I like. The design of these inserts is very creative and clean cut as well. My only qualm is I would have preferred to see images from the players' rookie years used on the Draft Rewind cards. Other than that, the insert sets are flawless.

Final Thoughts: Fleer Hot Prospects is without a doubt the real deal. This product is one of my favorites year in and year out and when I heard UD would continue on the tradition that is Hot Prospects I was thrilled. Needless to say I wasn't disappointed with the final results, in fact, my expectations were surpassed. All in all, this product finishes up nothing short of perfect.
Best Pull: Dee Brown Draft Day Postmarks Autograph Serial Numbered 043/100
The Draft Day Postmarks are reminiscent of the 2000-01 Fleer Autographics on Location set, one of the greatest autograph sets in existence. I was hoping to pull one of the aforementioned cards prior to the break, and not only did I pull one...I was fortunate enough to pull one of my favorite player, Dee Brown.
